Could your story be next?

Results, at the end of the day is what it's all about. Results have kept us in business for over 20 years. Your story is next.

The following are examples of bottom line results our clients have achieved when working with our group. Leaders and employees participated in our proprietary change methodology to generate results.

Challenge: A company with a new CEO needed a turnaround after a decade ended with great losses, low stock price and low morale.

Result: Launching a culture change process with Volentum training, the CEO inspired a new vision and strategies. Several creative new businesses were developed, productivity rose dramatically and the company stock price rose 70%.

Challenge: Midsize company showing poor productivity.

Result: In less than six months, productivity grew from 60% of total requirements to 98%.

Challenge: Manufacturing plant faced with a ten-year-old, hostile union management environment, a pending strike, low productivity and a planned closing within five years.

Result: In less than one year, productivity soared 50%, quality service was at 98%, safety noted only one minor injury and new products ensured the existence of the plant beyond the year 2000.

Challenge: A large plant in a Fortune 10 company facing a hostile environment and a possible phase-down of activities.

Result: In nine months, the plant had the second highest rate of positive change in the world. Inventory and hazardous waste were both reduced by 30%. Fixed costs were reduced by 20%. The union/management relationship became one of the cooperative involvements in the turnaround.

Challenge: Managers in a mill in the South feared a work stoppage as a part of negotiating a new contract.

Result: Within weeks, they achieved a mutual agreement for cooperative employee involvement in high performance.

Challenge: A former market leader business with a poor safety record experienced a 50% decline in EBIT due to shrinkage in market size and price. Even worse, EBIT was expected to decline another 50% that year.

Result: Within one year, the business safety record improved by 30% and, instead of declining, EBIT increased by 70%.

Challenge: A business on notice to “fix or close,” due to serious safety problems and seven years of financial losses.

Result: Within five months, the business had an excellent safety record and made a profit for the first time in seven years.

Challenge: After a restructuring, an oil and gas business experienced high turnover, low trust and poor communications.

Result: After 70% of the division took Volentum training, employees reported that trust was high and lines of communication opened. The employee turnover rate was reduced by 25%, exceeding the organizational goal of 15% improvement.

Challenge: A Canadian Mill with poor production efficiency and a challenging work culture.

Result: Within three months, production efficiency was up 35% - with a 29% increase in average daily production. ROI was 1013% for the joint effort of Volentum and a company site team.

Challenge: Serious quality issues at a facility in the Carolinas made for a lot of rework, and was costing time, money and high levels of frustration.

Result: After Volentum training, the site commissioned a Quality Breakthrough Team to address quality awareness and improvement. Within two weeks, the site experienced a 50% reduction in defects, which dramatically reduced reworking time.

Challenge: A Mill with the worst safety record in their industry. Of all the mills around the world, they had the worst numbers. Safety had been bad for a decade.

Result: Within weeks of Volentum training, employee teams took over responsibility for safety and led their mill to outstanding safety performance. They became one of the best in their company (which had a good record).

Challenge: A site with low morale and little employee engagement showed a very poor response time on customer orders.

Result: Employees eliminated more than half of the steps in the old order entry process and reduced the number of hours for filling an order from 24 to 4.

Challenge: Site seeking OSHA VPP Star status was warned by officials that lack of employee engagement threatened their goal.

Result:
The site was awarded the first VPP Star status in their region. An OSHA lead auditor that was familiar with the site commented, “Your culture has turned 180 degrees!”

Challenge: A crew with the poorest performance at a wood products plant was told it needed to improve.

Result: After Volentum training, the team broke records with the highest production per hour, the highest total production for the month and the highest on-grade percentage in the plant.

Challenge: A site needed to develop, manufacture and ship a brand new product more quickly than seemed possible.

Result: The site overcame established barriers, manufactured and shipped the first truckloads of the product within six months – and won a quality award in the process! The impact on the ROI of the facility was more than 10%.
